cellular phones. Though it is wireless it is not affected by weather like satellite Internet
connections. It can also be offered at a lower cost than other Internet connections because
of the reduced overhead from not needing to install cables throughout its coverage area.
A lot of the time it is even offered in area’s that are further from highly populated area’s
that cable and DSL do not cover!

A one time activation charge is required. It is $50 for an indoor unit or an outdoor unit that
you install yourself. It is $100 for an outdoor unit that you have installed or a LOS unit
which must be installed by a SpeedNet Installation technician.

If you purchase either the indoor unit or the outdoor unit, there is no activation
fee.
